Presenter instructions

For Poster Presenters

Please note the following instructions for poster sessions:

  1. All posters should be printed; we cannot accommodate digital posters.

  2. Poster size should be 3 feet tall x 4 feet wide.

  3. We will provide thumbtacks for the posters.

  4. There will be no formal judging or evaluation of the posters.

  5. Poster presenters should plan to stand near their posters for the duration of the session so they can answer questions and share findings with other attendees.

  6. If you prefer to print your poster in Jamaica, we suggest contacting Mackelia at Elite Conceptz & Solutions. Check your email for more information and the Elite Conceptz & Solutions contact information. 

For Workshop, Oral Presentations, and Hot Topics

Please note the following instructions for workshops, oral presentations, and hot topics:

  1. All presentations should be submitted in advance to ensure a smooth technical setup for all sessions. 

  2. Please finalize your presentation in PowerPoint using the standard 16:9 aspect ratio.

  3. If your presentation includes embedded videos, please ensure they are compatible and ideally also submit the video files separately as a backup.

  4. All videos should be submitted as an MP4 file

  5. Naming Convention: Please name your file clearly using this format:
    Session time_Last name_First name_short title

  6. If you have any last-minute, minor edits after the submission deadline, please bring your presentation on a USB drive as a backup.

  7. We encourage you to arrive at your presentation room at least 15 minutes before your session start time to check in with the session chair and/or AV technician.

  8. Check your email for instructions on how to upload your files. All presentations should be uploaded by October 29 to the google drive folders.
