Shannique Bowden

Shannique Bowden is the Executive Director at the Jamaica Youth Advocacy Network (JYAN) and an attorney-at-law. Shannique has over seven years’ experience working on human rights issues. She is passionate about human rights,
without exception, and has strong interest in child rights and protection, access to information, youth development and
international law. Her favourite part about working with JYAN and on youth issues is engaging directly with young people and learning from them about their experiences, challenges, and solutions.

In her downtime, she enjoys playing tennis, building Lego sets, and trying to figure out the meaning of life.
