World Congress, Part II
What is the World Congress, Part II?
The IAAH World Congress, Part II is the opportunity for those with work that was accepted for the original World Congress to present their work. This will include oral presentations, workshops, and posters. The meeting will also include keynote speakers and a youth program. This will be a hybrid meeting.
When and where will the World Congress, Part II be held?
The IAAH World Congress, Part II will be held May 13-15, 2026 at the Ocean Signature Resorts in Trelawny, Jamaica.
How can I register for the World Congress, Part II?

Is there a charge for the World Congress, Part II
If you registered and paid for the World Congress already (prior to the Part I meeting in November), you do not need to pay again to register for Part II. If you are looking to attend Part II, please see below.
I paid to attend the November meeting, but I cannot attend the World Congress, Part II in person, may I get a refund?
Part II will be available on line as well as in person and the on line sessions will also be available to view after the event. We will not know whether partial refunds will be possible until after the World Congress, Part II.
My work was accepted for presentation/workshop/poster for the World Congress. Do I need to resubmit?
Yes, you should have received a communication from us about our resubmission process. Note that works that were accepted remain accepted, but we will give authors a chance to update their work with any new data. If you have not resubmitted your work, please reach out to secretariat@iaah.org as soon as possible.
I had declined the offer to present at the original World Congress, but I am now able to attend in person. Can I attend now?
Yes. All accepted presenters should have received a survey so they can let us know they plan to attend Part II. If you did not receive the survey, please reach out to secretariat@iaah.org as soon as possible.
Are new submissions being considered for presentations at the World Congress, Part II
No, at this time we are not accepting new submissions.
Will there be a gala?
Those who purchased a ticket for the Sundown Soiree in Montego Bay will automatically receive a ticket to the Seaside Soiree to occur during Part II. If you do not attend Part II in person, you will receive a refund for your Sundown Soiree ticket.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying at the conference location: Ocean Signature Resorts by H10 Hotels in Trelawny. There are two hotels on the property.

What does All-Inclusive mean?
Your stay includes accommodations, all meals and snacks, unlimited drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), on-site entertainment, non-motorized water sports, and most resort amenities — all in one upfront price.
What if I stay at another hotel?
You are welcome to find other accommodations. However, please know that all attendees who are staying off property will need to purchase a Conference Pass for $119 to access the property and its facilities. Regular access would be from 10am to 6pm. You will have access to the conference space for the times of the Congress. There will not be shuttle services from other hotels.
What’s the best airport to use?
Participants may arrive through Montego Bay (MBJ) or Kingston (KIN) international airports.
Montego Bay (MBJ) is the closest airport, located approximately 35 minutes from Ocean Coral Spring and Ocean Eden Bay Resorts.
Kingston (KIN) is approximately 2.5–3 hours away by road.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel property?
If you are arriving in Montego Bay, airport transfers can be arranged through Turissmo Jamaica: https://turissimojamaica.com/.
If you are arriving in Kingston, there are two options:

Private transfer: 2.5–3 hours | ~US$250–$280 (up to 4–6 passengers)

Budget option: Taxi → Knutsford Express bus → taxi (approx. 4–5 hours)
